Our Rhythm of Life invites each of us into weekly public worship. We offer various worship services throughout the week, in person and online, and whether you are curious, critical, or committed, you are welcome here at St. Paul’s. Come as you are – wear what you like, and don’t worry if it’s your first time. We welcome newcomers every week and our wonderful team of volunteers will help you in any way you need.

Music Programs
St. Augustine said that “he who sings, prays twice.”
Sacred music allows us to worship God in unique ways and we are fortunate at St.Paul’s to have a wide variety of styles of sacred music.
Contemporary Music Ministry
The Contemporary Music Ministry is a creative group with a drive to incorporate the best of recent Christian music as well as re-imagine the classic repertoire. It strives to offer a fresh and exciting new way to worship at our 9:30 am service while combining traditional music making with modern technology.
The team is dedicated to welcoming young musicians. We rehearse during the week and on Sundays before service. There are many ways to join the team, and we are always looking for new members. Anyone is welcome, regardless of your level of music literacy and training. Our Contemporary Music Director is Ian Koiter.

Classical Music Ministry
The Classical Music Ministry offers members, visitors, and passers-by a chance to take a break from the busy pace of life and experience the peace and timeless beauty of worship through the rich repertoire of classical music.
The Choir of St. Paul’s Bloor St. is the principal ensemble for the 11 am Classic Service, a team of some of Canada’s finest professional singers along with a vibrant group of volunteers. Every week, we offer two anthems, a choral Communion setting, and hymns to the 11 am worship service. Our music selections come from a wide variety of composers from around the world, spanning from hundreds of years ago until today. The classical tradition is alive, well, and celebrated at St. Paul’s! Our classic worship is supported by the landmark Blackstock organ, among the largest and finest instruments in Canada. Find out more about this magnificent Casavant, opus 550 of 1914/1955 here.
During major events such as Lessons and Carols, Ash Wednesday, and Holy Week, we collaborate with the Contemporary music team and together provide a rich and diverse musical experience for all to joyfully worship God.
Our choir rehearses on Thursday evenings and we are always accepting new volunteers. If God has given you a calling to sing and a passion for music, please fill out our Serve Form. Our Classical Music Director is Joshua Anand Slater.
