In 1995 the singer-songwriter Joan Osborne released a song called “One of Us”, in which she wondered what God would be like if he were one of us – what would his name be, what would his face look like, and what would we hope for from him? In the month leading up to Christmas we’ll be exploring what God as ‘one of us’ looks like.
