New Here

Baptism is an exciting milestone that marks the beginning of your Christian journey. We schedule at least two Baptism services each year.

We’re here to support you as you take this important step in your faith journey and say ‘yes’ to following Jesus. We’ll help you get prepared, whether you’re an adult, a youth, or the parent of a young child.

Steps to Baptism

Join us on Sunday morning for worship and explore being part of our St. Paul’s community.

We want you to be prepared, understand the Baptism promises, and have support on your Christian journey! Sign up for our preparation courses which we offer several times a year.

  • For families, sign-up for our four week Stepping into Faith course below.
  • For adults, sign up for Alpha or contact Tyler Wigg-Stevenson.

Stepping Into Faith

At St. Paul’s, we invite parents who are considering baptizing their children to join us.

To prepare for this exciting journey, please sign up for our four-week Stepping Into Faith course. Designed primarily for parents, we offer it twice a year on Sunday mornings. The course explores the basic practices of Christian faith, along with the meaning of Baptism, and equips families to grow in faith with their children. Childcare is available through our Nursery and Children’s Ministry.

Upcoming Dates: TBD

Members are those who commit to making St. Paul’s Bloor Street their faith community for learning, worship, service, and generosity.

To become a member, you must have attended Sunday worship regularly at St. Paul’s for at least three months and want to make this commitment publicly at a membership service.

As a member of St. Paul’s Bloor Street, we ask you to commit to: being a disciple of Jesus, attending a worship service, joining a Connect Group, serving faithfully, giving generously, and spreading the Good News.

Download a Membership Form or contact Tyler Wigg-Stevenson.

Confirmation is where you reaffirm your Baptismal vows. For those who were baptized as a child, this is a chance to take ownership of the promises made by your caregivers on your behalf. A Bishop presides during a Confirmation service to join us in celebrating this commitment to God.

If you’re interested in confirmation as an adult, please contact Tyler Wigg-Stevenson.

If you’re interested in confirmation for your youth, please contact Ian Koiter.

We’re delighted that you’re interested in making St. Paul’s a part of your wedding celebration! We aim to do everything possible to make sure your wedding is a wonderful and memorable occasion. As you begin your new life together, we also want to help you build the strongest possible marriage that’s given vision and strength through Jesus Christ.

Please read our Wedding Guide to help you decide if St. Paul’s is the church for you.

Please contact Tyler Wigg-Stevenson if you have any questions or are ready to take the next step.

We can provide funeral assistance and comfort to you during the difficult period following the death of a loved one. You may choose between a traditional Anglican Book of Common Prayer funeral service, a more contemporary service, or a memorial service. All follow the basic Anglican Funeral liturgy, but you will be able to personalize it with readings, music and a time of thanksgiving.

Contact our office and a staff member will assist you with the funeral process.

Pre-planning a funeral years in advance or during the final weeks of life can help you communicate clearly with your family and loved ones about your funeral preferences.

Contact our office for more info.
