Bishop Jenny Andison
Rector

Jenny Andison

Bishop Jenny Andison is the former area bishop of York-Credit Valley in the Diocese of Toronto and became Rector of St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2021. Bishop Jenny was born in England and has lived in Pakistan, India, Singapore and Japan.

Bishop Jenny was born in England and has lived in Pakistan, India, Singapore and Japan. She earned an Hons. BA from Queen’s University in 1994 and received her Master of Divinity from the University of Toronto (Wycliffe College) in 1997. In 2017, Wycliffe College honored the bishop with a Doctor of Divinity (honoris causa). When not busy at the church, she enjoys reading biographies, meals with friends and family, and playing with her two miniature dachshunds. She lives in Toronto with her lawyer husband Tim, with their eldest daughter living in New York and their two youngest daughters now at university.
Associate Priest & MAP Director

Tyler Wigg-Stevenson

Tyler Wigg-Stevenson is an Associate Priest and the Director of the Ministry Apprenticeship Program (MAP). He oversees adult spiritual formation and is also one of the pastoral leaders for the Young Adults/20s-30s community, as well as covering Connect Groups during Suzie Hodgson’s maternity leave. Tyler is the primary clergy contact for weddings.

He holds a BA from Swarthmore College, an M.Div from Yale Divinity School, and a Ph.D. in theology from the University of St. Michael’s College. He is the author of several books and many articles and has a prior career in faith-based advocacy for nuclear disarmament. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, printmaking, cooking, and Muay Thai. Tyler and his wife, Natalie, a theologian, live in Toronto’s East end with their three young daughters.
Ben Tshin
Associate Priest

Ben Tshin

Ben Tshin is an Associate Priest, and joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in June 2022. He oversees outreach ministries and coordinates the liturgical life of the church.

Ben Tshin is an Associate Priest, and joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in June 2022. He oversees outreach ministries and coordinates the liturgical life of the church. Educated first as a Systems Design Engineer, Ben shifted into 10+ year career in international development and humanitarian relief, most recently with World Vision Canada working in countries like Haiti, South Sudan, Pakistan and Mongolia.

Ben enjoys playing guitar, biking, all things aviation, and beautiful mathematics. Ben and his wife Julia both grew up in the Toronto area into immigrant families, and they deeply love this diverse global city.

Assistant Priest

Austyn Ejiogu

Austyn Ejiogu is an Assistant Priest and joined St. Paul's Bloor Street in May 2022. He earned a BA in Religion from the University of Nigeria and a B.Th. from Trinity Theological College, respectively.

Austyn Ejiogu is an Assistant Priest and joined St. Paul's Bloor Street in May 2022.

He earned a BA in Religion from the University of Nigeria and a B.Th. from Trinity Theological College, respectively. Austyn is also certified in Language and Ministerial Studies from Crowther Graduate Theological Seminary and is currently working on his Master's in Theology at the University of Toronto (Trinity College). Austyn has served as a Priest, Youth Chaplain, and Children's Ministry Coordinator in the Anglican Communion and has been involved in several outreach programs. Austyn assists with our worship services on Sundays and plays a key role in welcoming visitors and newcomers to Canada.

He is happily married to Rejoice, who is a teacher, and they are blessed with a daughter and twin boys. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, art, listening to good music, playing soccer, and table tennis.

Discipleship Minister

Nathan Hodgson

Nathan joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in the spring of 2023. Born and raised in Ajax, Nathan returned to Canada in 2022 with his wife, Suzie, after living in the UK, where he worked as the Young Adults Pastor at Holy Trinity Brompton.

Nathan holds a BA in Political Science from Wilfred Laurier University and a Masters of Divinity in Theological Studies from Tyndale University. Alongside his role at St Paul’s, Nathan works with other Christian non-profits to bring the message of Jesus to their communities across Canada. He loves basketball, exploring the city, and a few laughs over a pint with friends.

Discipleship Minister

Suzie Hodgson

Suzie is currently on parental leave, with an expected return in early 2024.
Suzie joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in the spring of 2023. Originally from Australia, she moved to Toronto in 2022. Before this, she lived in London, England where she led marketing for Alpha across the UK and Europe, and most recently worked as the Groups Pastor at Holy Trinity Brompton.

Susie joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in the spring of 2023. Originally from Australia, she moved to Toronto in 2022. Before this, she lived in London, England where she led marketing for Alpha across the UK and Europe, and most recently worked as the Groups Pastor at Holy Trinity Brompton.

With qualifications in communication and education from the University of Canberra, Suzie has had a diverse career in marketing/communications in both the private and charity sectors, in addition to teaching in schools in Australia and England.

Suzie is married to Nathan, and together they’re passionate about seeing the church as an agent of renewal in Toronto. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the city, good food with friends, and photography.

Joshua Slater, music director

Joshua Slater

Joshua joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in October of 2021 as the Music Director, Classical. He is an Indian-American conductor, keyboardist, composer and scholar with an active career in opera and concert music.

Joshua joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in October of 2021 as the Music Director, Classical. He is an Indian-American conductor, keyboardist, composer and scholar with an active career in opera and concert music. He holds the Mus. M and BA from Boston University, and Colleague certification from the American Guild of Organists. Joshua served as Trinity Wall Street’s principal program annotator and has been commissioned by the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Washington Chorus among others. An amateur cook, Josh spends his spare time trying to master French cuisine. He splits his time between Toronto and New York with his wife and son.

Ying Quan, ARCCO, joined St. Paul's Bloor Street in April of 2022 as the first female Peaker Organ Scholar. She is honoured to be working alongside our Director of Classical Music, Joshua Anand Slater and the vibrant music team at St. Paul's.

She studied at the University of Toronto and enjoys collaborations with other musicians. Outside of work, she prefers to spend her time doing activities that require minimal skill, such as admiring nature and checking out other people's dogs (respectfully).

Ian Koiter

Ian joined St. Paul's Bloor Street in 2016 and is now the Music Director, Contemporary. Ian grew up in Midland, Ontario.

Ian joined St. Paul's Bloor Street in 2016 and is now the Music Director, Contemporary. Ian grew up in Midland, Ontario. He left to pursue a B.Mus and a BA in Religious Studies at Western University. He has also completed an M.A. at McMaster University. Ian loves to go back to Midland whenever he's able to visit his family and swim in Georgian Bay.
Families Minister

Tiffany Robinson

Tiffany joined St. Paul's Bloor Street in August of 2023 as the Families Minister. She was born in Philadelphia to missionary parents and lived in Latin America, England and the U.S. before moving to Toronto in 1998.

Tifanny is a candidate for ordination in the Diocese of Toronto and has worked and taught in various ministry settings in Toronto in children and family ministries, as well as leadership development. After earning a B.Sc. from the University of Virginia and an early career in architectural restoration in Los Angeles, she shifted to theological studies and earned a Masters of Theological Studies from Regent College (Vancouver), a M.Phil in theology from the University of Cambridge, and a Ph.D in theology from University of St. Michael’s College. In her spare time, she enjoys long hikes, kayaking and cooking. Tiffany and her husband Peter have three children away at university and live in the east end of Toronto.

Janet Earle

Janet joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2004 and now is the Children’s Minister, welcoming the youngest members of our community. She was born and raised in Montreal and moved to Ontario to complete an engineering degree.

After working for 10 years as an engineer, followed by staying at home with her three children, she began her role in Children’s Ministry at St. Paul’s. When not busy at the church, Janet enjoys neighbourhood walks and listening to audiobooks. She along with her husband Will also enjoy spending time with their adult children.

Linda Deramaix

Linda joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2009 as the Children’s Ministry Assistant. She’s been attending since 2002 and here she found a church home with great children's ministry for her young son and a place to learn and grow in faith. To her, it’s privilege to help children grow in their relationship with God each week.

Linda has a Diploma in Graphic Design from Durham College and professional certification as an art educator from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She brings her professional background with curriculum and arts as well as her experience as a parent into her role helping with our children's ministry programming.
Born and raised in Canada, she moved to Toronto in 2002 and loves living in a diverse downtown culture.
Linda loves nature, art and science fiction. In her spare time she can be found gardening, reading a good sci fi book or sketching at one of Toronto's many outdoor spaces.
Dylan Ziegler

Dylan Ziegler

Dylan joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2021 and is now the Youth Minister. Originally from rural western Pennsylvania, Dylan moved to Toronto in August 2021 with his wife, Aimee.

In the States, Dylan earned a BA in Religion and Philosophy from Waynesburg University and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is currently working on his PhD in Theology at the University of Toronto (Trinity College). Growing up, a deep and formative mentorship with his own youth pastor stirred his interest in ministry, and over the last decade he has served in numerous roles in youth and young adult ministry. In his free time, Dylan enjoys exploring the city, listening to podcasts, playing board/video games with friends, and has taken a recent interest in building computers.
Kent Williams
Executive Director

Kent Williams

Kent joined St. Paul's Bloor Street in early 2023 as the Executive Director. Previously he was a CFO for a Toronto-based chemical company and has worked in finance over his 25-year career. He holds a Chartered Professional Accountants designation and is a graduate of the University of Toronto’s B.Com program.

He previously served on the Board of Trustees and started attending St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2016 with his wife, Cecilia, and their two children Anthony and Victoria. Over the years Kent has served in various ministries in the church. Kent and his family have lived in the Toronto area for most of their lives and have been residing in mid-town since 2010. Kent has been a Christian his whole life and was raised in an evangelical church. In 2015 he enrolled part-time at the University of Toronto Wycliffe College in the Master of Divinity program. As with any growing family, he and his wife spend most of their spare time with their kids at various school functions and activities.

Director, Operations (St. George By The Grange)

Nadia Smid

Nadia serves as the Director, Operations at St. George by the Grange, St. Paul’s mission church. Since 2017, she's overseen the church facilities, finances, human resources, space use, community relations, and rental units. Prior to joining the St. Paul’s staff, Nadia worked at RBC in a variety of roles across banking, marketing and HR.

Nadia was born and raised in Toronto where she currently lives with her husband John and two sons, Noah and Nathan. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto and her post-graduate at Centennial College. Nadia has a storied volunteer career serving on school councils, leading fundraisers and other community initiatives. A proud baseball mom who enjoys reading, baking bread, gardening, and throwing a good party, Nadia is inspired and motivated by what the Lord has in store for St. George’s both now and in the future.

Nancy joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2005 as the Parish Nurse. She oversees a large part of the Health Ministry though outreach groups, GriefShare, and DivorceCare.

She also assists parishioners navigate the health care system. Nancy has a BSc. From University of Toronto which started her career in the field. Nancy enjoys singing. Her and her husband have served in the Classic Choir for many years.

Laura Abucater

Laura joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in the summer of 2021 as the Communications Coordinator. She graduated with a B.Tech. in Graphic Communications Management from Ryerson University in 2020.

Omari Alonzo

Omari joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2006 as the Executive Chef. He is a passionate and experienced chef who gained his deep-rooted love of cooking from his mother at a young age.

Omari joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2006 as the Executive Chef. He is a passionate and experienced chef who gained his deep-rooted love of cooking from his mother at a young age. His largest motivation for cooking stems from seeing the smiles on people’s faces once they enjoy one of his meals. To him, food is more than just nourishment, but rather, it is a way to connect with others. He was born and raised in the East End of Toronto, and still resides in that area with his family. Omari pursued a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto, followed by a Liaison College Diploma in Culinary Arts. When he is not cooking, you can find Omari snowboarding in the winter, or mountain biking in the summer with his family.

Kevin was born and raised in the downtown area of the city. He attended Central Technical high school, studied various trades, audio engineering, then attended Centennial College where he studied auto mechanics. When not at work, Kevin enjoys music, DJing, and collecting rare vinyls. Kevin also runs a small business of handmade items with his wife and daughter.

Ken Churchill

Ken joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in January of 2023 as the Production Manager. Ken has over 20 years of experience as a live production supervisor and audio engineer in the meetings and events industry.

Ken has over 20 years of experience as a live production supervisor and audio engineer in the meetings and events industry. Here, he takes care of our Sunday morning live streams and special events. To Ken, working at St. Pauls adds a dimension of meaning; the opportunity to use technology to increase the influence of the church and effectively spread the meaning of the Word.
In his spare time, Ken dabbles in songwriting and music composition and loves film and stand-up comedy.
Audio Technical Manager

Justin Massey

Justin joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in January of 2023 as the Audio Technical Manager. He is a Canadian saxophonist, composer, and interpreter of contemporary music based in Toronto, Ontario.

With a passion for education, Justin has a private studio and teaches saxophone, flute, and clarinet in the Greater Toronto Area. He is the St. Andrew’s Academy of Music Visiting Faculty in saxophone and has taught lessons, masterclasses, and band clinics at St. Andrew’s College, the Crescent School, and University of Toronto Schools. Justin completed his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at West Virginia University. He has earned degrees from Conservatoire de Bordeaux, Bowling Green State University, the and the University of Alberta.
Steve Shaw
Honorary Assistant

Steve Shaw

Steve serves as an Honorary Assistant Priest at St. Paul’s where he supports the prayer ministry, pastoral needs and helps as required at services.

Steve serves as an Honorary Assistant Priest at St. Paul’s where he supports the prayer ministry, pastoral needs and helps as required at services. He is originally from New Zealand and holds degrees in civil engineering, urban planning and divinity, and for most of his professional career, has worked both as a professional engineer while also serving in several churches.

During his professional work, Steve has also served as a priest at several churches being Priest in Charge at Little Trinity, St John’s Nassagaweya, and St George on Yonge, where he led the development of the new church.
Steve is a former Chair of the Board of the Scott Mission, and currently is Chair of the Board of St. Paul’s Lamoreaux Centre.

Steve is married to Chris and they have 4 children and 7 grandchildren distributed in Toronto, Calgary and Mexico City.

John Oakes

John joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2022 as an Honorary Assistant. He is retired from full-time church ministry, has been an ordained priest since 1997, and served mostly on the West Coast, where his major incumbency was at Holy Trinity, Vancouver.

John joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2022 as an Honorary Assistant. He is retired from full-time church ministry, has been an ordained priest since 1997, and served mostly on the West Coast, where his major incumbency was at Holy Trinity, Vancouver. He was also Rector of St. Mary’s, Richmond Hill, in this diocese from 2014 to 2017 and he ministered for four years as senior pastor of a Vancouver Baptist congregation.

John was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford (B.A. and M.A. in Classics), Regent College (M.C.S. in Church History and MDiv.), UBC (M.A. in History), and Simon Fraser University (PhD. in History). Prior to pursuing a career in pastoral ministry and academia in North America, he worked as an investment analyst and as a journalist and editor in the UK. He and his wife, Kirsten, who is a travel consultant, have been married for 40 years. They immigrated to Canada in 1989 and have two adult daughters and three granddaughters.

John’s interests include sports, movies, politics and literature, although not necessarily in that order.

Stephen joined St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 2016 as an Honorary Assistant and is the Principal of Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto. Prior to this he was the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Algoma, headquartered in Sault Ste Marie.

Winville Larcher

Winville started attending the Classic Service at St. Paul’s Bloor Street in 1990. He finds the warm, diverse and spiritually rich community at St Paul’s a place where he and his family can grow in their faith journey.

He has served as the Peoples Warden at St Paul’s Lorne Park and on the boards of youth charities and acted as a mentor for at-risk youth.

Born in Trinidad, Winville moved to Montreal with his parents and three sisters at the age of 6 and was raised in the Anglican faith. He eventually moved to Toronto to study at York University where he graduated with a BA in Political Science and Economics. He has spent over 30 years in financial services and banking working for Canadian and global banks both domestically and overseas. He also enjoys cooking, long distance running and recently completed a wines certification program at George Brown College.

Sarah Brandon

Sarah and her husband Neal joined the St. Paul’s community in early 2010 following their return from living and working abroad. Since that time, Sarah has been active in various church ministries including small groups, volunteering at St. Paul’s Central, a communion administrant and serving as vestry clerk at annual general meetings.

Professionally, Sarah has spent the past 17 years providing communications strategies to some of the world’s top brands in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. She currently works at a global public relations and public affairs consultancy where she leads the business development and marketing efforts for the firm’s Canadian operations. Sarah holds a degree in media, information and techno-culture studies from Western University, and belongs to the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) and the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Beng Wee

Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Beng graduated with a B.Sc. (Honours) in Management and Chemical Sciences from Manchester, UK and attained professional accounting qualifications eventually becoming a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

He worked in various international finance roles for Dow Jones & Co. in Hong Kong and New York before moving to Singapore in 2004 to serve as International Director of Finance and Administration of the Overseas Missionary Fellowship (OMF).

Beng and his wife, Eirene, first visited St Paul’s in 2012 when looking for a church with a good youth group for their children, Caleb and Sarah. Relocating to Toronto after completing his MA in Theological Studies from Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., Beng was appointed Director of Finance and Administration for OMF Canada. Beng is actively involved in small group ministry, currently facilitating a Community Bible Study group. He also sits on the Boards of two other Christian organizations and has hosted Alpha courses. Besides traveling, Beng enjoys watching Formula 1 racing, playing some golf, and walking the golf courses when tournaments are being played.

Raymond Lam

Raymond started attending the Bridge service at St. Paul’s with his wife, Loretta, in 2011. Their son, Fredrick, was baptized at St. Paul’s as an infant. They also attend a small group and help during the church service in various capacities. Raised in Hong Kong, Raymond was introduced to Christianity from a young age in school. He attended an Anglican church during his teenage years and was later baptized there.

In his spare time, Raymond enjoys skiing, playing golf, and listening to classical music.

Lisa Milligan

Lisa is an active member of St. Paul’s Bloor Street, attending the Contemporary Service since 2015, and was drawn to St. Paul’s for its diverse community and commitment to worship through music.

Lisa was born in Montreal and moved to Markham in her early childhood, where she became involved in her local Baptist church. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science and Business from the University of Waterloo and received a Master of Biomedical Science from the University of Guelph. Lisa has more than 10 years of experience in the professional services industry, focusing on communications, leadership enablement and project management. In her spare time, Lisa can be found enjoying performances by one of Toronto’s many arts organizations or enjoying time outdoors playing tennis, cycling or hiking.

Abodya serves as a Trustee, Small group leader, and member of the Audit & Finance Committee as well as the Investment Committee at St. Paul’s Bloor Street. He has been attending St. Paul’s since the summer of 2015.

He has been attending St. Paul’s since the summer of 2015. Abodya was born in Dar-es-Salaam Tanzania but grew up in the Greater Toronto Area. He has been working in Corporate Lending at various financial institutions since 2012 and holds a Master of Business Administration at the University of Toronto and is CFA charter holder. In his free time Abodya volunteers at an after-school Youth basketball program and enjoys various outdoor sports.

He has also been featured in multiple publications such as The Financial Post, Globe & Mail, Reuters, Morningstar, Investment Executive, CTV, and was featured as an "Industry Icon" by Wealth Professional.

Modupe Akodu

Modupe moved to Canada from the UK with her husband and two children in 2010 and started attending St. Paul's that year. She is originally from Nigeria and was raised as a Christian, regularly attending an Anglican Church. She serves in Children’s Ministry and other areas. Along with her husband and two teenagers, Modupe worships at our 11 am service.

Modupe lived in England for 20 years and completed a Master of Science at the London School of Economics. She was a Business Systems Analyst and Software Developer, providing key technology solutions for investment banks in London, Dusseldorf, and New York. Modupe has worked with consulting firms like Andersen Consulting and financial institutions such as Barclays, Natwest, WestLB AG (West Deutsche Landesbank), and the London Stock Exchange. She set up an information technology consultancy with her husband, which they managed for many years.
She now focuses her time on her family, arranging her schedule around her two kids. She enjoys painting, watching sports and going for long walks in her free time.
