Bob grew up in Montreal where both his parents and grandparents were strong Christians and very committed to the church. It was in his family that he learned about Christianity and decided that he wanted to follow Jesus. He moved to Toronto to pursue an MBA and then worked for TD Bank. He was fortunate to work in Canada, United States, Asia and Great Britain before retiring after 36 years. He took a one-year sabbatical and then was recruited to work at a private equity firm and retired again after four years. He is married to Cathy, and they are blessed with two children and six grandchildren. For their entire married life Cathy and Bob have been very committed to the church. Upon returning to Canada from the UK, they started to attend St. Paul’s and have served in various capacities including Connect Groups, Sunday School, and he served on the search committee where they recommended the church call Bishop Jenny to her current position. He served on the Wycliffe College Board of Trustees for 12 years, including three as Chair. Bob and Cathy worship at our 9:30 am service.
