We live in a large, global city and Connect Groups are the core of our community life at St. Paul’s. It’s easy to feel anonymous at a big church, and this is the primary way to meet friends who will support your spiritual growth as a follower of Jesus.
Connect Groups
Wherever you are in your faith journey, Connect Groups exist to be a safe place for:
- Connecting faith in God to everyday life
- Connecting in authentic relationships
- Connecting the teachings of the Bible to the heart and mind
- Connecting with the wider community in service
Connect Groups meet multiple times a month and offer a welcoming, close-knit environment of friendship, Bible study, prayer, and conversation. Our Connect Groups are as diverse as our congregation: some are focused on people at similar stages in life, while others are all ages. Some meet in person, others meet online, and some do both. And, while all our Connect Group leaders affirm the creedal Christianity that is the foundation of the Anglican tradition, you’ll find a wide breadth of theological views.
No prior Christian knowledge is required to join a Connect Group, but spiritual seekers and newcomers to the church may benefit from taking our Turning to Christ or Alpha courses before joining a group.
