It’s a New Day!
“Look! I am making everything new!” (Revelation 21:5)
We are very excited to welcome families back in person for Children’s Ministry!! Everything is a little different and we are delighted to be gathering together again. Join us Sunday mornings beginning on Sept 12th at The Bridge at 9:30 & 11:00 am.
We will be meeting in the big space in Cody Hall & Room 106, with masks on, socially distanced, and staying safe. We are excited to start our new ‘Simply Loved’ teaching materials for our younger children, and the ‘Be Bold’ curriculum for our older grades will help ask and answer their tough questions.
We are making sure that our Children’s Ministry is fun, safe, & engaging. For now, our Nursery & Toddler rooms are not permitted to open. We welcome boys & girls ages 4 -10.
We hope that families will come to worship – children, youth & adults. Young children are welcome in worship and can enjoy our 5 clean & safe play areas around the church!
If you have any questions, please email Janet Earle, Children’s Minister, at email@example.com.
We can’t wait to see you & to meet new friends!

Sunday Morning Highlights
Fun – In Children’s Ministry, we combine care, play, and interactive learning for children. As we gather again, we seek to ensure that children feel welcome, enjoy their time at church, and have some fun every Sunday! We can’t wait until we can offer some of our special events for children & their families again.
Age -Appropriate Bible Teaching – Our teaching materials use the Bible to reveal Jesus to the children. We offer a variety of creative and age-appropriate activities that suit the age and stage of each child.
Healthy and Safe – Ensuring a safe, secure, and healthy ministry is essential to making children feel at home. We provide a sanitized and child-safe space and ensure all relevant safety guidelines are followed in everything we do. All staff and volunteers are screened, qualified, and have completed background checks.
Our Passion – We’re passionate about serving children well. We are committed to excellence every step of the way, from the welcome you receive, to the teaching materials we select, to the learning experiences in each class. We want children to feel at home during their time in Children’s Ministry as they connect, learn, and grow. We welcome families from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds, and we seek to create an environment in which everyone can experience belonging.
(Age 4 to 10)
In Children’s Ministry, we seek to encourage and inspire children on their faith journey. We choose curriculum materials that are fun and engaging, and recruit leaders who enjoy sharing their faith with children. We are finding new and safe ways to be together. Children will have their own dedicated supplies stored in a pencil case. Program materials will be prepared ahead so each child has their own set. We are not serving food or drinks to the children for now. Everything will be clean and sanitized.
Our current COVID-19 guidelines from the Diocese of Toronto do not allow our Nursery and Toddler Room to be open. That does not mean that your baby isn’t welcome at St. Paul’s! Babies and children are invited to join our church family for worship. We have created 5 play areas around the church with toys and activities for young children. We ensure that everything is clean and ready for each service! We have baby change facilities in our washrooms. Children ages 4-10 are welcome in our Sunday morning programs.
