About St. Paul's Bloor Street

St. Paul's is a dynamic and growing church based in a historic building in the heart of downtown Toronto. Throughout the week our members live out their faith across the city, learning how to live as followers of Jesus in their places of work, in their homes and as they interact with their friends and family. We gather every Sunday to connect with one another and worship God.

St. Paul’s is an Anglican church, which means we value and celebrate the historic Anglican expression of the Christian faith.

What We Believe

We believe the good news of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection is relevant to all people and has the power to transform our lives, the City of Toronto, and our world. We believe we were made to love God and to express that love together through loving others in word and deed.

At St. Paul's we live out this faith informed by our Anglican roots, connecting this good news of Jesus with our contemporary world.

Our Anglican Roots
St. Paul's Bloor Street, along with Anglican Christians around the world, affirm our belief in historic Christianity as revealed in the Bible and summarized in statements called creeds: The Apostle’s, Nicene and Athanasian Creeds. These creeds along with the 39 Articles of Religion and the Solemn Declaration from the Anglican Book of Common Prayer express the central beliefs of the worldwide Anglican Communion. At St. Paul’s we also strive to live into our Discipleship Covenant.
