Marriage Preparation

At St. Paul’s we run the Alpha Marriage Preparation Course designed for any engaged couple. While based on Christian principles, the course is relevant and helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background. Topics covered include: communication, commitment, resolving conflict, keeping love alive and shared values.

Each of the five evenings  begins with supper, there is then a talk, followed by an opportunity for each couple to discuss issues raised. There is no group work. Each couple has the chance to discuss these issues with the course leader if they wish.

The cost of the course is included in the wedding fee at St. Paul’s. If you are being married elsewhere but wish to take the Marriage Preparation Course through St. Paul's, the cost of the course is $185 per couple.
