Joyce BadleyOne of Joyce’s favourite activities is swimming in the warm waters of her husband Robert’s home country of Barbados with him and their two children, Jennifer and Martin.
Having been raised on a farm in Brownvale, a small town in Northern Alberta, Joyce finds it somewhat strange that she has found herself living in the middle of Canada’s largest and most diverse city and serving in one of the largest and most dynamic Anglican Churches in the country. But she is deeply passionate about serving the Church within the community of St. Paul’s and about raising up Christian leaders.
Joyce and Robert came to St. Paul’s in 1987 and have been active members ever since. Joyce has served in many capacities. Her most satisfying serving opportunities have been as a teacher in Children’s Ministry and as a facilitator of the LifeKeys program.
Joyce is a Chartered Accountant but today she serves on a part-time basis as Executive Pastor, overseeing leadership development and assisting the Rector with the implementation of the Vision and Mission of St. Paul’s. Joyce also attends Tyndale Seminary where she is enrolled in a Master of Divinity program.
