Janet Earle

Janet Earle, our Children’s Minister, has three teenagers which helps her to really appreciate the preciousness of the little children in her care.

Janet became a Christian at summer camp in her teens but really starting growing in faith by encountering God through in-depth Bible Study. She began her career wearing a hard hat at work as a chemical engineer, then after 10 years stayed home to care for her children. In 2001 Janet started teaching Sunday School and three years later accepted the call to lead Children’s Ministry. She now experiences great joy serving our children & families.

She came to St. Paul’s with her husband Will, a University of Toronto professor, in 1986. After raising her children here, she has a perspective on the past and excitement about the future of ministry in our church.

Watching Children’s Ministry grow and blossom under God’s loving touch is one of the great privileges of her life. John 16:33 is a particularly meaningful verse where Jesus tells His followers, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
