Our Leadership

Frank CairnsFrank Cairns

Frank Cairns first attended a service at St. Paul’s on the first Sunday in Lent of 1978 and served on many committees including the Music Committee, Worship Committee and the Advisory Board before taking on the role of the Verger in August of 1993.

Beginning in July of 2005 Frank began serving the dual role of Property Manager & Verger as we began taking over completed sections of the Nehemiah Project. He has been growing into the role of a ‘Property Manager’ with the help of many throughout the parish. It is quite a change as he is a graduate of Ryerson University in Graphic Arts Management and continues in a small way in the field providing marine graphics and much of the new signage that pops up around the Church is made in his basement at home.

Frank married his wife Corinne here at St. Paul’s in 1987 and son Jack was baptized at St. Paul’s in 1991. Corinne is an IT specialist with Air Canada Jazz which means Frank can jet off in search of the perfect golf destination with clubs in tow. He usually plays early in the morning by himself so sadly no one will witness his first hole in one.

Frank’s other passion is pipe organ music and regularly annoys his family and neighbours with screaming loud volumes of it, however it is greatly appreciated on Halloween Night.
