Children
Children can just tell…
They know they matter at St. Paul’s. We show them when they walk through the door to Children’s Ministry and every step of the way, that they matter to us and they matter to God.
Join us and experience the fun and energy of being together to celebrate and learn what it means to follow Jesus. We are growing fast and love to welcome new families. Children’s Ministry happens every Sunday during The Bridge and 11am Service.
Come and meet Janet Earle and the Children's Ministry team – we can’t wait to meet you and start having fun together.
FAQ’s:
Where can I find Children’s Ministry?
Come in the glass Atrium doors and head to your right. Run up the stairs up to the second floor of Cody Hall where all the fun happens. Pushing a stroller? Go past the stairs and look for the elevator straight ahead. When you arrive, staff and volunteers will greet you and help you register your child. For more information, check out our Children’s Ministry Brochure.

What should I do with my baby in church?
Babies and children are welcome in our services. Many parents prefer to keep their babies with them until they start to become mobile – just park your stroller away from the exits. Our Nursery is equipped for babies so you can drop in to feed or change your little one. While you're there, meet our staff and find out if your baby is ready to stay. Parents are welcome to accompany their child at any time. For more information about our Nursery, check out our Nursery Brochure.
Who are the leaders in Children’s Ministry?
We have a wonderful team of volunteer leaders who are members of our parish community. All are screened and have completed police record checks, and most are parents themselves. Children’s Ministry is overseen by Janet Earle, Children’s Minister, and our Nursery is supervised by Desdemona Gomez, E.C.E.
What about health & safety concerns?
We make every effort to have a safe, healthy, child-friendly space. We are sensitive to children with allergies and we provide a peanut-free snack and juice each week. We have a Sick Child Policy to minimize the spread of illness. Please provide us with any important health information when you register your child.

What about Parents?
We offer small groups throughout the city, as well as our Family Following Jesus course for those preparing for Baptism or parents who want to learn more about living as a Christian family. We also offer the Parenting Course (2-12) and the Parenting Teenagers Course for those who want to strengthen their family relationships. Parents with little ones are welcome to drop into our relaxed Parent & Tots group on Wednesday mornings from 10am-12pm in the Nursery.
What else do you offer beyond the Sunday programs?
Our special events include our Christmas Pageant & Family Supper, the Family Christmas Eve Service & Party, a Pancake Supper in February, the Good Friday Program, our Easter Egg Hunt, a Spring BBQ and our September Welcome Sunday event.
