Our Leadership

Denise MifflinDenise Mifflin

Denise has been a member of St. Paul’s Bloor Street since her arrival in Toronto in 1986. She has held a number of positions at the church, including nursery coordinator, Sunday school teacher, senior’s shut-in visitor, choir member and parent youth coordinator. Denise’s husband, Fred, has also been actively involved in St. Paul’s since their time here and both their daughters, Lauren and Natalie, have been ‘born and raised’ at St. Paul’s and are currently involved with the senior youth program.

Denise was born in Clarenville, Newfoundland where she was actively involved at her local church, St. Mary’s. She completed her B. Arts (Mathematics, Education) at Memorial University of Newfoundland and later her M. Ed. (Mathematics) at McGill University. Denise has taught and worked in the education and publishing fields in Newfoundland, Montreal, and Toronto.

She has been a member of the Community Bible Study group for the past few years and feels that as she closely studies God’s word, her understanding of her faith is growing in leaps and bounds. She prays that her involvement as a warden will help her grow in her faith and actively give back to God for the many blessings that he has lavished on her life.
