Choir: Where Music Meets Community

Interested in singing in the choir?

Posted on April 4, 2018

The choir is a group which (naturally!) loves to sing, and to use our talents as best we may, but there are numerous other benefits to making worship music together.  In singing together we offer our music to God, to each other, and have a lot of fun at the same time! Music also has many proven health benefits, both physical and intellectual. Among the many rewards of singing together is the benefit of belonging to a supportive and welcoming community.

If you would like to try singing in the choir you are invited to come to a practice on April 26, May 3 or May 10. The choir meets at 6.30 p.m. in the Music Room, located one floor below the sanctuary. Though some musical experience is helpful, a pleasant voice and willingness to offer your musical gifts to a wider community is all that is necessary.
